Rethink and Discovery Program

The Rethink and Discovery sessions comprise a "Thought-Leadership Program" designed to surface business and technological views that help clarify understandings and stimulate an industry-wide change and transformation process for the pulp and paper industry.

Rethink and Discovery IV -- Held at PIMA Annual Meeting, New York City, NY on June 30, 2003
1st part: "How to Succeed in a Changing Marketplace and Business Culture" <-- click here to access the presentations of the panel members. The changing marketplace for paper companies places unique pressures on internal company structures. Dealing with external forces that affect a company's structure and culture are key to a company's success. This distinguished panel debated how to succeed in the "eye of the storm" that is today's marketplace.

2nd part: "Review of the Marketplace by the End Consumer" <-- click here to access the presentations of the panel members. The key to success in any business is a clear understanding of your customers' expectations and how best to serve your major clients. The paper industry is no exception, but does our industry behave as if it grasps this crucial concept?
